The Junkers Ju 86-K fighter-bomber

Designed Originally As An Airline Plane.

To Accommodate The Military Request, 

 Instead Of Accommodations For Passengers 

Things Were Replaced... 

There Are Racks For Bombs 

And Machine Gun Stations.

One Machine Gun Is In 

 The Nose In A Rotatable Turret

 And There Are Two More Of Them Aft 

Of The Wing Above And Below The Fuselage. 

Directional Radio Is Standard Equipment 

And The Airplane 

Is Equipped For Night Flying. 

The Speed These Aircraft Had 

Was Maximum 242 m.p.h. 

Really Fast Flight.

 Its Cruising Speed Of 217 m.p.h.

Easily Shot Down By Allied Fliers.

Not A Frisky Accomplishment,

But Did The Job, A Very Heavy Engine.

  Its Landing Speed Is 62 m.p.h. And

 Its Ceiling Is 26,000 ft. , Which Points 

The Main Mission Was Reconnaissance.

High Altitude At Very Low Temperatures

Which Give It A Plus, With A Pressurized 

Cabin Feature, Armament Was Not Needed,

The Allied Aircraft Could Not Climb To That That Height.

It Was Used To Fly Over London, 

Surveying The Damage Of The Blitz Missions,  

Then Sent To The Eastern Front In Russia.
